City Customer Offices closed on Youth Day

10 June 2024

The City’s customer offices will be closed on Monday, 17 June 2024, for Youth Day. Customers are encouraged to make use of the City’s e-Services and convenient online payment options where possible.

The City's municipal offices, including cash, motor vehicle registration and licensing, Human Settlements offices as well as Driving Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs) and municipal courts will be closed for the public holiday. Customer offices in the Lansdowne Corner Mall, Liberty Promenade Mall, and Table Bay Mall will also be closed.

‘Residents are reminded of the e-Services options and we encourage residents to check the City’s website or to call ahead before visiting the nearest office if in doubt. Customers are also urged to settle their municipal account by using the QR code on their invoice, which is embedded with their EasyPay number and outstanding balance, and allows access to the payment portal for an accurate, efficient and secure payment process.

‘The City is committed to improving its customer office offerings to residents and we again encourage customers to make use of our online payment options. Thank you to our account holders for their payments and support,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi.

Residents may access the online booking system at https://bookings.capetown.gov.za to book an appointment. See this short YouTube video on how to schedule an appointment: https://bit.ly/3WH8j5o
